Experience in foster care: Knowledgeable about trauma and its effects on children and families.
Financial awareness: Fundraising and nonprofit budgeting experience. Ability to connect with a wide donor base and build new key stakeholder relationships in our community.
Adaptable: Comfortable with managing many tasks simultaneously and able to work individually to meet a variety of needs.
Organized and Proactive: Able to manage multiple responsibilities, communicate effectively, and troubleshoot as needed.

Additional skills include:
– Public speaking to both large and small groups
– As this role works closely with children, teens, and DCS workers, the candidate must be able to enforce rules (e.g., bedtimes, chores) with kindness and consistency.
