Position Title: Hamilton County Community Impact Manger

Accountable to: Director of Community Impact

Salary Range: $42k-$44k

Employment Status: Salary, Exempt

As part of the Chattanooga Area Food Bank’s Community Impact team, the Hamilton County Community Impact Manager leads a network of agency partners by collaborating with member agencies and community partners to build relationships, increase food distribution capacity, maximize hunger relief efforts, and provide quality service to our neighbors in a way that that promotes dignity, respect, and compassion.
Responsibilities:
·         Act as the primary liaison for 70+ agency partners in Hamilton County, effectively communicating all CAFB, Feeding America and USDA policies and requirements

·         Provide excellent customer service to and build relationships with agency partners, responding to questions and requests for support from partner agencies, including working with Operations team to resolve order issues

·         Conduct routine compliance visits for agency partners and maintain all files to ensure compliance with CAFB, Feeding America, and USDA standards

·         Recruit and onboard new member agencies that align with the strategic plan and provide onboarding to new partners within the assigned territory

·         Manage active pass-through grants related to agency partners

·         Work with Community Impact team to plan events for agency partners including town halls and an annual conference

·         Continually optimize internal processes, improve program outcomes, and innovate to meet emerging needs

·         Collaborate with other departments including Operations, Development, and Communications through regular meetings to further the mission of CAFB

·         Collect and analyze data to assess and address community needs

·         Work with Director of Community Impact and team members to assess the current capacity of agency partners and determine where additional resources are needed

·         Represent CAFB as an expert in the region, including leading convening efforts in the community to improve visibility of CAFB and creating opportunities for partnership

·         Work with community leaders and organizations within the service region to identify community-based solutions to increase food distribution and community capacity to feed those facing food insecurity, including organizing community meetings and helping leaders identify strategies and programs to meet their unique needs

Qualifications:
·         2-4 years program/project management, customer service, or comparable experience required

·         Prior nonprofit/social services experience preferred

·         Bachelor’s Degree (social services related field or relevant concentration) preferred

·         Ability to communicate promptly, effectively, and respectfully both verbally and in writing on many levels with diverse audiences

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technology tools (Primarius, Text Request, Safety Culture, etc.)

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite

·         Proactive and positive demeanor, very detail-oriented and organized

·         Willingness to work during regular food bank office hours and flexibility to assist with occasional after-hours events

·         Driver’s license with good driving record

Physical Requirements:
·         Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
