In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in providing support, guidance, and encouragement to individuals seeking to reclaim their lives from mental health challenges. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in implementing the five key elements of social practices: Social Design, Engagement, Relationship Development, Integrated Feedback & Intervention, and Transitional Environments. As a Bilingual Recovery Coach, you’ll have the unique opportunity to bridge language barriers and provide culturally sensitive support to our diverse community. You’ll empower individuals to access the resources they need to achieve their recovery goals, all while fostering a sense of hope, resilience, and community.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Some holidays and weekends required)

About the Role: Bilingual Recovery Coach
As a Bilingual Recovery Coach, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging language barriers and providing culturally sensitive support to our diverse community. You will help individuals navigate their recovery journey through engagement, relationship-building, and psychosocial rehabilitation.

What You’ll Do:

Use the Five Elements of Social Practice to guide members through their recovery
Foster trust, motivation, and belonging among individuals facing mental health challenges
Support members in developing and achieving individualized recovery goals
Provide real-time interpretation (English/Spanish) to facilitate communication
Assist in all Clubhouse units, including Business, Wellness, Education, and Employment
Advocate for members’ rights and access to resources
Work side by side with members

What You Bring
✔ Fluency in English & Spanish (Certification in Spanish language proficiency required)

✔ Empathy & passion for helping individuals with serious mental illness

✔ Strong interpersonal & communication skills

✔ Adaptability & cultural competence to serve a diverse community

✔ Commitment to working some pre-planned evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required & Preferred Qualifications
🔹 Minimum Education: High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

🔹 Experience: 1-2 years working with individuals with SMI or in a community setting

🔹 Transportation: Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license (3-year clean MVR, no DUIs)

🔹 Tennessee Residents: F Endorsement required within 14 days of hire

🔹 CPR certification required (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)

Core Interpretation & Translation Responsibilities
Provide real-time interpretation (spoken English ↔ Spanish) to ensure seamless communication
Translate materials (forms, flyers, communications) for staff and members
Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and impartiality while interpreting
Foster cultural understanding to enhance communication
