Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP)

Federal funding is now available to local agencies for emergency food and shelter in Hamilton County.

Hamilton County has been awarded $133,675 for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP). Eligible nonprofit organizations with existing programs can now apply for funding. The application deadline is April 12, 2024 by 3 pm.

The local board reviewing applications includes representatives from the national organizations FEMA convenes, including United Way, Jewish Federations of North America, Catholic Charities USA, The Salvation Army, American Red Cross, and the National Council of the Churches of Christ USA.
