Caring Cards
Caring Cards
United Way of Greater Chattanooga has partnered with the AIM Center and Partnership for Families, Children, and Adults to provide “Caring Cards” to the individuals they serve.
If you would like to make and send a “Caring Card” to an individual, please follow the directions below.
Directions
1. Gather supplies you would like to use to make your “Caring Card” such as paper, pens, markers, crayons, stickers and other craft supplies. You are also welcome to use generic or blank stationery cards.
2. Determine how many cards you would like to make and choose that many individuals from the list at the bottom of this page. For example, if you would like to make 15 cards, choose 15 names randomly from the list at the bottom of this screen.
3. Address your cards to the individuals you selected. When addressing the actual card you are making, do not include the number next to the individual’s name. There are instructions below on how to address the envelope.
4. Decide what message you would like to include on your “Caring Card.” Here are some examples:
- You are awesome!
- Never forget how amazing YOU are!
- You rock!
- I hope you have a great day today!
- You shine brighter than the sun!
- You inspire me. Thank you for being YOU!
- Be Brave!
- I believe in YOU!
5. Sign the “Caring Card” you just created with your first name only. Feel free to include the city in which you live. For example, “Hannah from Chattanooga” or “Rachel from Hixson.”
6. Use the below format to address your envolope
Name and Number (Example: Pat 3)
Attn: Caring Cards
Organization Name
Street Address
City, State, Zip Code
Once the “Caring Cards” arrive at the organization, staff will distribute them to their clients.
